New Generation Wrestling is going on tour this March to bring fans four huge shows featuring some of the biggest names in TV wrestling and some of the brightest up-and-comers of the British ring.

NGW’s mad March kicks off with the second annual Homecoming show at the Eastmount Centre in Hull on Saturday, March 9.

NGW Proving Ground: Homecoming 2 will be headlined by the hugely popular Adam ‘Flex’ Maxted – star of WOS Wrestling and Love Island on ITV.

One of British wrestling’s brightest prospects and recently named in Fighting Spirit Magazine as ‘One to Watch’, ‘The Standout’ Lucas Steel will also be in action against Caz Crash. Steel enjoyed a breakout 2018 culminating in him capturing the NGW Gen X Championship at Hull City Hall last December.

The NGW Proving Ground Championship will be on the line when champion Conor Renshaw faces the charismatic Nino. The Proving Ground Championship is a title for some of the company’s most promising young grapplers trained by top UK stars Rampage Brown and ‘The Showstealer’ Nathan Cruz at NGW’s training schools in Newcastle and Hull.

Veteran NGW star Dara Diablo has also signed to face Reece and Rogan in tag team action, but who will be Diablo’s partner?

Hull favourite ‘The Amazing’ Matt Myers will host an Open Invitational on the show and the ever-popular underdog JD Boom, as well as flashy youngster Man Like Dereiss will also be part of the bill.

Doors open 6.30pm, bell time 7pm.

NGW will then travel to the Rushcliffe Arena in Nottingham on Saturday, March 16 for an afternoon show to be held in the same venue as Wrestle Gate Pro’s ‘Enter the Dragons’ event that evening.

NGW Proving Ground 44 will see Nottingham hero ‘The Heavyweight House of Pain’ Stixx battle brash newcomer ‘The Gift to British Wrestling’ Myles Kayman.

Gen X Champion ‘The Standout’ Lucas Steel will face the man he deposed to win that title, the ever-popular masked high-flyer Robbie X.

Adam ‘Flex’ Maxted will have his work cut out for him when he duels with the dangerous debutant, Jack Turner.

Dara Diablo, Chuck Wood and debutant Joe Nelson will also be part of the show.

Doors open at 1.30pm. Bell time 2pm.

The following day (Sunday, March 17), NGW will present Full Force at Victoria Hall in Keighley.

One of UK wrestling’s biggest names, ‘Superhuman’ Justin Sysum, will defend his NGW Undisputed Championship against another of the country’s top talents, Martin Kirby. Sysum is also currently the WOS Wrestling Champion, as seen on ITV.

Women’s wrestling action will see the newly-crowned WOS Women’s Champion Katy Lees face ‘The Asian Sensation’ Kanji.

The Australia-born star Sean Kustom also has a huge challenge in the shape of Adam Maxted. Matt Myers, Robbie X and Lucas Steel are all scheduled to appear too.

Doors 4pm, bell time 4.30pm.

NGW’s whistle-stop March rounds off with NGW Proving Ground 45 at Pelton Community Centre, Chester-le-Street, on Sunday March 24.

Proving Ground Champion Conor Renshaw will battle the grizzled HT Drake, while the debuting Gia Adams, Ethan Allen, Adam Maxted, Robbie X, Lucas Steel and Lana Austin are also on the card.
